Building the Foundation for What’s Next

Clear Path Ground Works believes every successful project begins with careful planning, professional execution, and a commitment to doing the job right.

01 — Who We Are

Doing the Job Right, From the First Call

Clear Path Ground Works believes every successful project begins with careful planning, professional execution, and a commitment to doing the job right.

We provide professional land clearing, tree services, forestry mulching, residential and commercial demolition, site preparation, grading and emergency storm response throughout Southwest Florida. Whatever the property needs to become, the approach is the same: plan it properly, execute it safely, and manage it from the first consultation through final completion.

That means safe project execution, professional planning, detailed proposals, strong communication, and respect for your property at every step — not just the day the equipment shows up.

04 — The Fleet

Matched to the Ground, Not Just Available

Running our own equipment means we can put the right machine on a job instead of the one the rental yard had left.

That matters more here than most places. A machine heavy enough to pull palmetto root mats will rut a wet lot badly if it is the wrong choice for the season, and a mulcher that flies through scrub will stall out in mature hardwood. Matching iron to ground is most of the skill.

  • Tracked dozers — clearing, pushing, rough grading and pad work
  • Excavators — stumps, root mats, demolition and trenching
  • Forestry mulching heads — standing vegetation ground in place
  • Skid steers & compact track loaders — tight-access and finish work
  • Dump trucks & trailers — debris haul-off and fill delivery
  • Chippers & stump grinders — tree service and cleanup

05 — Local Ground

Why Southwest Florida Is Its Own Problem

Contractors who learned to clear somewhere else tend to bid this ground wrong the first few times. These are the things that move a number.

Palmetto Root Mats

Saw palmetto runs a dense, interlocked root system just under the surface. Mowing the tops is cosmetic — it grows straight back. Actually clearing it means lifting the mat, and that is machine time.

Sugar Sand

Fine dry sand carries almost nothing. It moves under tracks, it will not compact without moisture and material, and a pad built on it without proper fill settles unevenly.

Wet Season

June through October changes what is possible. A lot that works in March can be unreachable in August. We sequence the schedule around it rather than promising dates that the rain will not honor.

Cabbage Palm Stumps

Fibrous rather than woody, they do not grind like hardwood and they do not rot out quickly if left. Planning for them up front avoids a surprise line item later.

Flat Drainage

With so little natural fall, water goes where the grade sends it and nowhere else. Clearing a lot without planning drainage can turn a dry property into one that ponds every summer.

Invasive Species

Brazilian pepper and melaleuca re-establish fast from fragments and seed. Removal that does not account for that is a job you pay for twice.

Licensed, Insured, Documented

Clear Path Ground Works LLC is a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1541681) and carries general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance are issued to property owners, general contractors and project managers on request, typically the same business day.

If you are a GC who needs us added as an additional insured, or an owner whose lender requires documentation before work starts, tell us early and it will be handled before mobilization rather than during it.

08 — Our Commitment

Preparing Every Property for What Comes Next

Our goal is not simply to clear land — it is to properly prepare every property for what comes next, whether that is a new home, a finished commercial development, or simply a safer piece of ground.
